Branding - Lets talk about Brand baby....  
Whether a small business or a large corporate, branding is very important for any business. Your branding if produced correctly can differentiate your business and service offering from your competitors, increase and drive customer loyalty.  
 
Small and medium size firms can create an effective brand and company image. By examining how the business works, how the customer would react or respond to the business and the relationship created between the business and customer and how the relationship is maintained and developed.

These clever commercials and associated straplines give the brand a buzz and imagery that is imprinted within the mind with just the recitation of the strapline can bring up a set of associated brand images.  
 
Some brands can evoke strong feelings and a loyalty that a person is proud to associate themselves with (for example: that suggests a persons status). A brand can create a perceived knowledge of the product or service that they are going to buy, before it has been purchased.  
 
Purchasing decisions can be influenced by the perception of a brand for instance: think about words that you think of when thinking of brands such as:  
Bush or Sony 
Primark or Prada  
Lada, BMW or Ferrari. 
 
When thinking of these brands what do you immediately think of?  
Their latest advert,  
Their strap line,  
The product,  
Their market positioning.  
Whatever our personal thoughts on the individual brand positioning of these brands, there is a place for them within the market. 
 
Your brand is your unique identity and managed effectively can command a customer following or brand loyalty. 
 
However, it is not unusual for brands to retain a negative brand image, which is difficult to shake off and needs a large proportion of positive feedback, marketing and brand remodelling to counteract the initial brand reputation, an immediate example of this is Skoda.
